Jeffrey Davis
Director of the Board

Davis founded Host.net along with Randy Epstein, and serves as its Chairman, CEO and President. He brings over 13 years of hands-on experience in systems integration, network setup and design, technical operations and management.

Prior to founding Host.net, Davis co-founded and was President and COO of Metro Fiberlink, Inc., a Delray Beach, Florida-based Data CLEC providing low-cost, high-reliability Internet service for the enterprise market. Davis was also the Senior Technology Advisor to the CEO of US Data Authority, Inc., a national T1 and T3 NSP. At US Data, Davis advised and assisted the company with their 40-market network rollout as well as in designing the company's Network Operations Center in Boca Raton, Florida.

Davis’ reputation in the business and technology community has generated invitations to speak on panels on a variety of topics including VoIP, security and entrepreneurship, including participation in the South Florida Technology Alliance’s ”Meet the Tech CEO's" panel discussion. Davis has also been recognized for his ability to negotiate the difficult landscape of the technology community as a young entrepreneur.

A proponent of supporting other young professionals with similar aggressive goals and aspirations, Davis has made significant contributions to the Nova Southeastern University’s Huizenga School of Entrepreneurship.

Thomas E. Turner
Director of the Board

Turner joined Host.net's Board of Directors in July of 2008 when Host.net acquired WV Fiber, and was appointed Vice Chairman in March of 2010.

Turner was previously the Chairman of the Board of WV Fiber & Ultra Global Investments from September 2006 until the sale of WV to Host.net.

Turner most recently held the position of President and CEO of Itronix Corporation where he grew the business of this leader in rugged wireless computing and completed the sale of the business to General Dynamics in 2005. Turner has held a number of executive leadership positions at WhereNet Datamax Corporation, Symbol Technologies and Wang Laboratories.  Turner also serves on the Board of Pacinian Corporation of Spokane, Washington and is a Partner in the Cabo Vida Group based in Costa Rica.

Turner received a BSEE from Tufts University and attended NYU Graduate Business School.

Stéphane Tremblay
Director of the Board

Stéphane joined the Host.net Board in December of 2012 when NovaCap Technologies purchased a majority interest in Host.net. Mr. Tremblay joined Novacap in 2006, leaving his position as investor and CEO of Memotec Inc., a data communication equipment manufacturer, which he bought, restructured and then sold to Comtech/EF Data.

Mr. Tremblay's prior experience includes working at Future Electronics, a leading electronic component distribution company. From 1989 to 1993, he held a Regional Sales Manager position at Allan Crawford, a data communication equipment company. Mr. Tremblay is a founding team member of Microcell, where he was responsible for building the first GSM network in Canada. In 2000, Mr. Tremblay became President and CEO of Espion/ESP Media, the first MVNO in North America. From 2001 to 2003, he was President and CEO of Kontron Canada, a division of Kontron A.G.

Mr. Tremblay holds a BSEE from Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, which he earned in 1985.

Ted Mocarski
Director of the Board

Ted joined the Host.net Board in December of 2012 when NovaCap Technologies purchased a majority interest in Host.net. Ted has been involved in funding and growing telecommunications and internet infrastructure companies for over 20 years.

Prior to joining NovaCap, Mr. Mocarski was a General Partner at Bank Street Capital Partners, a private equity firm where he participated in several investments in companies based in North America.

His prior experience also includes serving as a General Partner of Nautic Partners and Key Venture Partners where he was responsible for managing the funds’ investment efforts in the telecommunications and internet infrastructure sectors. While at those funds, Mr. Mocarski led their investments in companies such as Dobson Communications, Exodus, Verio, InterXion, Integra Telecom, Fairpoint Communications, Optasite and OpSource. Prior to entering the private equity field, Mr. Mocarski was an attorney at Edwards & Angell where he represented several private equity firms with respect to their investment efforts.

Mr. Mocarski serves on the Boards of iWeb, GNAX, and the City of Providence Retirement System Investment Committee. Mr. Mocarski holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Colby College and a Juris Doctor from American University.
